Osteopathy
Osteopathy
After working for several years as a physiotherapist, I decided to deepen my knowledge of the human body through osteopathy. It brings me great joy to help and heal people, and it’s important to me to give my patients the opportunity to understand why they experience (acute or recurring) pain, problems, or limitations..
For Acute / Chronic Complaints
Acute issues, such as sudden tension or spinal and joint blockages, can be treated with targeted manual techniques to release restrictions and improve mobility. For chronic complaints, treatment aims to optimize the interaction between the body’s structures, restoring balance and enhancing the body’s natural self-healing abilities—so you can move freely and smoothly again.
During Pregnancy
Osteopathic treatment during pregnancy supports the expectant mother by relieving discomfort such as back pain or pelvic tension and promoting the body’s natural balance during this special time. Osteopathy can also help prepare for childbirth by maintaining pelvic mobility and reducing potential blockages that could complicate the birthing process.
What Issues Can Osteopathy Help With?
Although the reasons people seek osteopathic treatment—and the underlying causes—are as individual as we are, some diagnoses and conditions are particularly common in osteopathy or atlas vertebra correction. These include:
Headaches, migraines, dizziness
Shoulder-neck syndrome, shoulder pain
Cervical, thoracic, lumbar spine pain or blockages
Sacroiliac joint pain/blockages, herniated disc
Digestive issues, irritable bowel syndrome
Fatigue, PMS (premenstrual syndrome)
After accidents or whiplash injuries
TMJ dysfunction, jaw pain, difficulty swallowing, lump sensation in the throat
The balance of the various elements is the art.

Atlas Vertebra Correction
Atlas Vertebra Correction
The head weighs about five kilograms – quite a load for our spine to carry each day. When the atlas vertebra, the first cervical vertebra, is misaligned for years or even decades, it can have significant consequences. The spine becomes unevenly stressed, important nerves and blood vessels may become compressed, and the muscles must constantly compensate to keep the head upright. This often leads to symptoms such as tension, neck and shoulder pain, or headaches.
A misalignment of the atlas vertebra – often caused by an accident – can throw the entire body off balance. In addition to common complaints like dizziness, tinnitus, or migraines, symptoms such as digestive problems, inner restlessness, loss of appetite, and sleep disturbances may also be related.
Atlas vertebra correction is a gentle technique that aims to restore the natural alignment and mobility of this important vertebra. With many years of experience, I precisely identify individual misalignments through touch and tailor the treatment accordingly. I work with the specially developed Themper device, which gently and steadily applies impulses to guide the atlas vertebra back into its correct position.
Whether atlas vertebra correction is the right solution for you can best be determined in a personal consultation. That’s why I take the time for a thorough examination and individualized advice.

What can be affected by a misaligned atlas vertebra?
-
The vagus nerve (the most important nerve of the parasympathetic nervous system) is responsible for the regeneration and relaxation of the body. It lowers blood pressure, helps us sleep, digests food, and ensures that nutrients reach our bloodstream. All in all, it is vital for life.
The atlas vertebra, when misaligned, can affect the function of the vagus nerve. As a result, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, and vitamin deficiencies are not always problems of food intake but may also indicate a restricted function of the vagus nerve.
-
The blood vessel Arteria vertebralis, which supplies the brain with oxygen and nutrients, runs directly through the atlas vertebra. A misalignment of the atlas vertebra can restrict this supply, leading to headaches, dizziness, a feeling of pressure, and even tinnitus.
The vein Vena jugularis externa returns 90% of the blood from the head back into the body's circulatory system. If this vein is constricted due to a misaligned atlas vertebra, it can cause blood to pool in the head, leading to tension and pressure in the head.
When all the parts of the body are in line, we have health.

Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy helps relieve pain, improve mobility, and restore physical function. During a physiotherapeutic examination, I take a holistic view of the body, observing compensatory movements where the body tries to avoid pain. For example, hip pain may originate in the lumbar spine, or tingling and numbness in the hands are often the result of a blocked cervical spine or overly tense shoulder region.
In treatment, I support your body with targeted mobilizations and by developing a personalized exercise program for home use — to break the cycle of pain and promote the body’s natural healing process.
